On July 21, manager Qiao Shibo visited CPC Secretary Wang Chengxi of Chifeng City, and the two parties has communicated and discussed about the further promotion of cooperation. Also participating in the meeting were the deputy mayor Yu Wentao of Chifeng City and the persons in charge of the city’s Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), Economic and Information Technology Committee, Construction Committee and the Investment Promotion Bureau, as well as CR Directors’ Office an the local business leaders from CR profit centers including CR power, CR gas, CR pharmaceutical and CR brewage etc.

Secretary Wang Chengxi expressed sincere thanks for CR’s supports in Chifeng city such as clean energy and urban gas supply etc. He has also introduced the basic situation of Chifeng city and the development plan for the clean energy. According to Wang, Chifeng city has rich natural resources, as well as favorable agricultural and traffic advantages. Especially the national support for the establishment of outward power transmission channel in the eastern Inner Mongolia has provided a historic opportunity for the construction of clean energy output base in Chifeng. It is hoped that given fully play to the Chifeng’s resources advantages and CR’s diversified business, both parties could strengthen their business cooperation gas, accelerate the wind power development project and further expand the investment and cooperation in more fields. Chifeng municipal party committee, municipal government and relevant departments will provide high-quality service for the development of CR in Chifeng, realizing mutual benefit and win-win result between the enterprise and the local government.

Manager Qiao Shibo briefed the overall business operation and the investment and cooperation in Inner Mongolia in the first half of this year. Qiao said, at present, the investment and cooperation between the CR and Chifeng has made a certain achievement and he thanked Chifeng municipal party committee and municipal government’s support for local investment and cooperation by CR gas, CR wind power and Ejiao. In the future, Chifeng would speed up its construction of clean energy output base, which could provide new opportunities for CR’s development in Chifeng. CR would further increase its investment in Chifeng and exert every effort in the projects such as clean energy, gas supply and pipeline construction etc., as well as promote cooperation in a broader areas as the pharmaceutical, retail and breweries etc., so as to contribute to the industrial development, urban construction and livelihood improvement. It is expected that the both parties would pull together, strengthen communication and closely cooperate, well designing and constructing the projects.

Before the meeting, manager Qiao Shibo has successively inspected CR electricity’s Xiangfeng wind power plant in Chengde paddock of Hebei province, Longgang wind power plant in Jianping, Chaoyang of Liaoning Province and CR gas in Chifeng of Inner Mongolia. Thus he got a detailed understanding about the situation and problems in project operation, business development and safety management in each enterprise. He has acknowledged everyone’s achievement and put forward requirement for following works. Besides, Qiao has also warmly communicated with the colleagues in each project company and encouraged them to work hard with passion, dutifully contribute to the national clean energy business and win honor for “China Resources”.
