On June 24, Fu Yuning and Qiao Shibo went to Xiamen to meet with Wang Menghui, member of the Standing CPC Committee of Fujian Province and Secretary of the CPC Committee of Xiamen, and the two parties exchanged ideas and reached broad consensus on the further promotion and deepening of the cooperation between CR and Xiamen.

Fu Yuning outlined the progress of investment projects of business sectors of the Group and plans for future development in the city. As Fu pointed out, the Group will fully participate in the economic development of Xiamen. At presently, CR has attained sound achievements in its businesses in Xiamen and there are great potentials for the cooperation between the two parties. The Group will further increase its investment in Xiamen and will cooperate with the city in terms of medicine and commodity industries in addition to the cooperation in real estate, gas and cement sectors. He hoped that the two parties will cooperate at a higher level and a broader range of fields on the basis of their current cooperation, with the view of contributing to the economic and social development of the city.

Wang thanked CR for its support to the development of Xiamen on behalf of the CPC Committee and government of the city. He said that Xiamen is now implementing its strategic plan named “Beautiful Xiamen”, furthering the reform and promoting the integration of Xiamen Bay as a city. He also expressed that Xiamen highly values its cooperation with CR and hoped that CR will further increase its investment in Xiamen and introduce advanced business management philosophy, with the view of realizing mutual benefit. He represented that Xiamen will further optimize its investment in environment, and provide better services for the development of various businesses of CR in Xiamen.

Also participating in the meeting were representatives from Xiamen City, including Zhong Xingguo (Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee), Zang Jiebin (member of the Standing CPC Committee and Secretary-General of the municipal CPC Committee), Lin Guoyao ((member of the Standing CPC Committee and Executive Deputy Mayor) and Zhang Canmin (Deputy Major), and representatives of the Group, inlcuding Wang Yin, Chen Lang, Wang Chuandong, Zhu Jinkun, Li Fuzuo, Zhou Junqing, Zhou Longshan, Wu Xiangdong, heads of the Directors’ Office, CR Land and CR Gas.
