On May 19, the Ministry of Civil Affairs (MCA) announced the result of the national assessment of social organizations for 2013 and CR Charity Foundation was ranked Level-5A, the top rank of the assessment.
This is the first time for CR Charity Foundation to be assessed by the MCA since its establishment. The assessment is conducted on four stages, namely the document review, on-site inspection by experts, final review by the assessment committee and media publicity. During the on-site inspection, the experts heard on the annual reports on the work of the foundation and conducted a comprehensive and rigorous audit of the internal governance, project management and performance and financial management. They also offered their insightful recommendations for the future operation of the foundation.
Adhering to its guideline of "Cherishing gratitude, rewarding the public and establishing a harmonious society”, the foundation has implemented a full range of public welfare projects for disaster relief, poverty alleviation, educational assistance and new rural development. The foundation has developed several public welfare projects in the name of CR Hope Town, which won wide public recognition. Under the guidance of the Non-governmental Organization Administration Bureau of the MCA, the foundation has been improving its internal management and has gradually developed into an organization of complete organization structure, complete management systems and information transparency, laying a solid foundation for the development of a charity and public welfare platform of high transparency, efficiency and sustainability.
