On the afternoon of May 20, an economic and trade delegation from Jiangxi Province, headed by CPC Secretary Qiang Wei, visited CR and was received by Fu Yuning and Qiao Shibo. The two parties discussed in detail various issues of business cooperation and investment projects and reached wide-reaching agreement for a stable long-term strategic partnership.

Fu expressed his delights in having visitors from Jiangxi Province and expressed his appreciation for their visit and the support leaders of governments at various levels of the province for CR’s investment and development in the province. Fu presented the business characteristics and current development of the Group and said that the major businesses of CR are closely related to the establishment of the economy-growing mode based on the drives of domestic consumption demands. According to Fu, CR is actively participating in the promotion of the new urbanization. He said that the Group will further promote the rapid development of its businesses in Jiangxi Province and hoped that Jiangxi Province will continue to provide substantial support for CR’s development in the province.

Qiang talked about the participation of their delegation in the economic and trade exchange between Jiangxi and Hong Kong and business sectors of the Group briefed their businesses in Jiangxi and problems requiring support from the provincial and local governments. Relevant leaders from Jiangxi Province offered their solutions and proposed to expand the cooperation with CR.

According to Qiang, the new form of this conference reflects the practical and cordial cooperative attitude of CR Group. He also expressed his appreciation of CR’s long-term support for Jiangxi, and that this visit promoted their determination to further cooperate with CR. He hoped that the two parties will continue to promote the comprehensive and far-reach cooperation with good faith and represented the CPC Committee and government of the province will create a better environment and more favorable conditions for CR’s development in Jiangxi so as to realize mutual benefits from the cooperation.

After the conference, the government of Jiangxi Province and CR executed the Framework Agreement for Strategic Cooperation, signed by Deputy Hu Youtao of the province and General Manager Qiao Shibo of CR Group. Under the agreement, the two parties will promote their strategic cooperation in the energy, medicine, food, trade, logistic, finance and public welfare sectors on the existing basis for cooperation.

On the afternoon of May 20, Fu attended the Promotional Fair for the Development Upgrading and Investment Cooperation of Jiangxi Province held by the government of Jiangxi Province in Hong Kong Exhibition Center. On the same day, Deputy General Manager Wang Chuandong attended the Conference for Investment of the State-owned Enterprises of Jiangxi Province in Economic Enterprises of Mixed Ownership hosted by the SASAC and the Department of Commerce of Jiangxi Province.

Also present at the conference and the signing ceremony were representatives from Jiangxi Province, including Hu Youtao (Deputy Governor), Zhong Jingen (Deputy Secretary-General of the CPC Committee and Director of the Policy Research Office), Xu Yanbin (Deputy Secretary-General of the CPC Committee), Lin Binyang (Deputy Secretary-General of the provincial government), and representatives of CR Group, including Chen Long, Wang Chuandong and heads of the Directors’ Office, relevant strategic business units and Level-A profit centers.
