On April 28, a delegation from Xuzhou, headed by CPC Secretary Cao Xinping, visited CR and was received by Fu Yuning, Qiao Shibo and Wang Chuandong representing the Group.

Fu first expressed his appreciation of Cao’s visit and the support and assistance the CPC Committee and government of Xuzhou have provided for CR in its long-term investment development in the city, where CR Power originated and CR has a number of investment projects currently underway. Heads relevant business divisions of the Group outlined their current development and future cooperation plans in Xuzhou in the fields of power, coal, real estate, gas, retail and medical services. Fu hoped that all business divisions can satisfactorily complete their investment projects and pay due attention to the energy conservation and emission reduction for the purpose of making greater contribution to the social and economic development of the city.

Cao briefed the economic and social development of Xuzhou and expressed his appreciation of the long-term cooperation with CR. According to his presentation, Xuzhou ranks fifth in Jiangsu Province in terms of the economic aggregate. As a regional center, Xuzhou is developing into an industrial, transportation, logistic and business, educational, medical, cultural, financial and tourism center (the Eight Center), enjoying great development potentials and tendency. He undertook that the CPC Committee and government of Xuzhou City will actively help to address problems arising in the investment projects of CR in Xuzhou and provide the best services for the strategic cooperation between CR and Xuzhou.

Also present at the meeting were leaders of Xuzhou City, including Yang Shiyun (member of the Standing CPC Committee, Director of the Organization Department), Zhang Funing (member of the Standing CPC Committee and Secretary of the CPC Work Committee of Xuzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone), Wang Anshun (Deputy Mayor), Wang Zhigang (Deputy Secretaries-General of the municipal CPC Committee) and heads of relevant departments and districts/counties in the jurisdiction of the city, as well as Guo Jinqing, Deputy Secretary-General of the Group, and heads of CR Power, CR Land, CR Gas, Vanguard and CR Medical.
