On March 22, Deputy Governor Wang Jiangping of Guizhou Province, Vice Major Liu Qingsheng of Shenzhen City and General Manager Qiao Shibo signed the Cooperation Agreement on Bijie Circular Economy Industrial Park and Guizhou-Shenzhen Electricity Transmission Project, on behalf of the People’s Government of Guizhou Province, the People’s Government of Shenzhen City and CR, respectively, witnessed by CPC Secretary Zhao Kezhi and Governor Chen Min’er of Guizhou Province, Deputy CPC Secretary Ma Xingrui of Guangdong Province and Wang Rong, member of the Standing CPC Committee and CPC Secretary of Shenzhen City.

Under the Agreement, the three parties will jointly prepare the overall plan for Bijie Circular Economy Industrial Park and set up the Park Administration responsible for planning, construction, operation and management of the park. Parties to the Agreement will provide energy for the park and promote the CR-Bijie electricity development through Guizhou-Shenzhen Electricity Transmission Project, realize the goals of “reducing the quantity and promoting the reuse and the conversion of the resources”. The electricity generated will be supplied to Shenzhen to make up for the power shortage of the city.
