On the afternoon of January 30, General Manager Qiao Shibo went on a research visit to Vanguard Store in Longgang, Shenzhen (South Region), where all sorts of commodities were displayed in a festival atmosphere.

Qiao carefully inspected the shelves of fruits, dry goods, soy products and cured products and the cooked food processing workshop where he inquired in detail about the safety measures and operational procedures. He urged his colleagues in the supermarket to guarantee the food safety for the good of the consumers and provide convenient and safe goods of special flavors for the population. Qiao also pointed out that the store features a large area, large numbers of customers and satisfactory business income. For this reason, it is important to guarantee the security during the operation hours and formulate a visualized emergency response program in a project management style. The Group will support the store to make pilot experiment in this direction and, if successful, the expertise will be copied and promoted across all Vanguard stores. The expertise will also be used for new employee training and promoted across other profit centers so as to promote the overall safety management professionalism of the whole Group.
