On December 27, SASAR praised 40 enterprises winning honor of “Advanced Unit in 2013 State Enterprise Operation Performance Evaluation”, including CR in a report.

The report pointed out that in 2013 state enterprises faced actively the complicated and changeable economic environment home and abroad, exerted fully the guiding effect of performance evaluation, strictly carried out the responsibility of maintaining economic growth, constantly deepened the evaluation of EVA, earnestly conducted evaluation of the staff, actively explored benchmarking evaluation and classified evaluation. They made great achievements on the maintaining and appreciation of state-owned assets and making enterprises stronger and healthier and enterprises’ scientific development. SASAR urged those enterprises to value their honors, make persistent efforts, summarize experience, be innovative to further promote the performance evaluation work.

SASAR suggested that state enterprises in 2014 should carry out the spirit of central government, adhere to the principle of “making progress in a stable manner, reform and being innovative”, centering on assets management, perfect the EVA-centered performance evaluation and classified evaluation and the motivation and restraint system which are suitable for enterprise function positioning, improve the orientation and pertinence of performance evaluation, improve quality and efficiency and conduct upgrading, improve market competitive strength and make contributions to comprehensively deepening the reform of state enterprises and pushing the sustainable healthy development of state enterprises.　

It is said, CR has won the honor of A-class enterprise for the ninth consecutive year. CR’ revenue reached 361.1 billion yuan in 2013 as of November, with a year-on-year increase of 21%; its total profit and net profit reached 33.8 billion yuan and 25.8 billion yuan respectively, with a year-on-year increase of 30% and 28% respectively, all performance indexes hitting a record high.
