On the afternoon of January 6, Qiao Shibo met Wang Menghui, member of the Standing CPC Committee of Fujian Province and CPC Secretary of Xiamen, and the two parties discussed in detail the further enhancement of the strategic cooperation between them, among other issues.

Qiao briefed CR's investments in Fujian Province and especially in Xiamen in recent years and expressed his appreciation of the attention and help rendered by the provincial and municipal governments to CR’s investment and development projects in the province and the city. He expressed his hope that CR can further deepen its cooperation with Xiamen, fulfill its social responsibilities as a central enterprise and make more contributions to the construction of a beautiful Xiamen.

Wang expressed his appreciation of CR’s cooperation with the city in many fields. According to Wang, CR, as a central enterprise with economic competency and a strong sense of responsibility, has invested in the city in urban gas, real estate and retail sectors. He hoped that the two parties will further enhance their communication, expand their cooperation and realize win-win development.

During his stay in Dalian, Qiao also inspected the site of the Xiamen Mixc and Jimei Gate Station of CR (Xiamen) Gas.

Also present at the meeting were representatives from Xiamen, including Lin Guoyao (member of the Standing CPC Committee and Standing Deputy Mayor of Xiamen), Kang Tao (member of the Standing CPC Committee and Deputy Mayor of Xiamen), Lai Jianzhou (Deputy Secretary-General of the CPC Committee of Xiamen), heads of the general office of the municipal government and Siming District, and representatives from CR, including Guo Jinqing, Deputy Secretary-General, and heads of local enterprises of CR Power, CR Land, CR Cement, CR Gas, CR Pharmaceuticals and Vanguard.
