On December 18, a ceremony was held in Beijing for the 2013 Conference for Sustainable Competency of Enterprises and the release of the Appraisal Report on the Public Transparency of Top 50 Chinese Enterprises, sponsored by Beijing Rongzhi Corporate Social Responsibility Institute and CASS Institute of Industrial Economics. CR was granted the Award for Top 50 Chinese Enterprises for Excellent Public Transparency and Community Relationship. Over 100 representatives from the SASAC, the Academy of Social Sciences, the UN Development Program, the Swedish Embassy, Beijing University, various industry associations, domestic and foreign enterprises and NGOs.
The annual conference, on the theme of “public transparency and improvement of the environment for enterprise development", discussed and explored practical and successful experiences in enhancing external communication and improving the environment for enterprise development through active and effective stakeholder relations management, providing new ideas for the effective integration of social responsibility and business operation of the enterprise.
