On November 26-27, Group General Manager Qiao Shibo met CPC Secretary Tang Jun and Mayor Li Wancai of Dalian in the city and they discussed in depth the further enhancement of the strategic cooperation between the two parties, among other issues.

Qiao expressed his appreciation to the CPC Committee and government of Dalian for their support to CR in its local development and detailed the CR’s business development in recent years, CR’s business performance this year and its plan for investment and development in Dalian. He said that Dalian has achieved exciting leaping development and CR is confident in its investment and development in Dalian. He expressed that CR will, while accelerating the progress of projects under way, integrate more with Dalian and, drawing on the overall advantages of the city, seek new fields for investment, promote the competency of CR enterprises in the city for win-win development.

Tang outlined the economic and social development of the city and thanked CR for its contribution to the economic and social development of the city as a reputed brand of the nation. The municipal CPC Committee and government will continue to value and advance CR's investment and development in various industries in Dalian and provide satisfactory services for CR. He hoped that the two parties will further promote their cooperation and CR’s investment in the city. According to Mayor Li, CR, as one of the most important cooperation partners, has been cooperating with Dalian in many fields. Currently, Dalian is on a critical development stage, with the all-round urbanization strategy providing more business opportunities and development space for investors from home and abroad. He hoped that CR will, while promoting projects under way, further enhance its communication with Dalian, continue to expand the scope and efforts of investment, with the view of promoting the cooperation between the two parties to a new level and contributing to the economic and social development of the city.

Also present at the meeting were leaders from Dalian, including Zhang Shikun (member of the Standing CPC Committee and Secretary-General of the CPC Committee), Li Xiangdong (Deputy Secretary-General of the CPC Committee), Zhang Yadong (Deputy Mayor), Wang Zhongyan (Deputy Secretary-General of the municipal government), leaders of relevant departments, and representatives from CR, including Shi Shanbo (Assistant to General Manager), Guo Jinqing (Deputy Secretary-General of CR) and heads of CR Land, CR Gas and CR Breweries. During his stay in Dalian, Qiao also inspected the Vanguard Mall in Dalian Hi-tech Area and CR Gas (Dalian Bonded Area) Co., Ltd.
