Zhang Gaoli Visits CR Booth at EU-China Exhibition on Urban Development

On November 20, 2013, EU-China Exhibition on Urban Development opened in Beijing Exhibition Center. Zhang Gaoli, member of Standing Committee of the Politburo and Vice Premier of the State Council, attended the opening ceremony and toured the exhibition. Deputy General Manager Li Fuzuo of CR attended the opening ceremony on behalf of the Group.

CR's booth was located in the Hall for Livable Cities of Beijing Exhibition Center, where the corporate image and newest development of CR were vividly demonstrated by means of graphics, texts, models and multimedia, focusing on the Hope Town projects and the CR Land’s notion of livability and achievements in practicing the notion.

After the opening ceremony, Zhang Gaoli and Siim Kallas, Vice President of European Commission, toured the exhibits and stopped at CR's booth. When viewing the model of CR Hope Town, Zhang said to Siim, “Baise is a relatively poor area in Guangxi, China. CR Hope Town sets a good example of poverty-relieving efforts by developing houses for local residents in reference to the characteristics of local Zhuang people and local farmers.”

During the exhibition, CR’s booth attracted many visitors who interestedly inquired about the development concept and the current development of the hope town projects.

It is reported that the exhibition was co-hosted by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Directorate-General for Energy of the European Commission, with government agencies and industrial parks in 31 provinces, cities directly under the administration of the state council and autonomous regions and cities and regions from 28 EU member nations exhibiting their advanced concepts in terms of governance, ecological environment protection, smart city development, the protection of history and culture, with the view of promoting the urbanization of China.
