On the afternoon of November 18, a delegation from Yan’an City, headed by Deputy Mayor Zhao Jing, visited CR and was received by Vice Chairman Wang Yin of the Group. The two parties exchanged ideas in detail concerning issues related to the cooperation projects launched since the signing of the framework agreement for investment and cooperation between the two parties as well as the enhancement of the cooperation relationship.

Wang extended his appreciation of the visit of Zhao and expressed that the framework agreement for investment cooperation with Yan’an is detailed and practical. Since the signing of the agreement, profit centers of the Group have made reasonable efforts to implement the agreement. He expressed his appreciation of the substantial support from the municipal CPC Committee and government and leaders of various local government agencies. He also hoped that the government of Yan’an will continue to support CR with its various operations in the city. The meeting provided a good opportunity for the two parties to fully negotiate issues and problems related to the cooperation projects.

According to Zhao, the municipal government of Yan'an attaches great importance to its cooperation with CR, and CR New Energy, CR Cement, CR Gas and CR Retail are making their best efforts to promote their investment projects in Yan’an. He hoped that more CR brands will find their way in Yan’an, establish projects and bring new visions and energy to the economic and social development of the city. He also expressed that the municipal government will fully support all CR investment projects in Yan’an, timely solve problems arising in the implementation of the projects, with the view of jointly promoting progress of the cooperation projects.

At the meeting, leaders of relevant departments and districts/counties and heads of various business sectors of CR discussed issues relevant to the enhancement of the cooperation between the two parties. CR Power signed wind power project development with Yanchang and Wuqi Counties.

Also present at the meeting were Xiao Jie, Deputy Secretary-General of the municipal government, heads of the Investment Promotion Bureau, the Economic Development Zone, relevant districts and counties, Guo Jinqing, Deputy Secretary-General of the Group, and heads of the profit centers including CR Power, CR Land, CR Cement, CR Gas, CR Pharmaceuticals, Vanguard, CR Breweries and Ng Fung.
