On November 14, a press conference was held in Beijing for the release of the Blue Book of Corporate Social Responsibility 2013, announcing the top 100 state-owned enterprises, top 100 private enterprises and top 100 foreign enterprises elected on the basis of their CSR performances. CR was promoted to the rank of Excellence, ranked 6th on the list of Top 100 Chinese Enterprises with Excellent Performance of Social Responsibilities for a second time following 2012. CR was also ranked 6th on the list of Top 100 State-owned Enterprises with Excellent Performance of Social Responsibilities.

The conference was jointly launched by the Institute of industrial economy of CASS, the Institute of Social Development Strategy Research of CASS and the Social Science and Academic Press. The rankings included in the Blue Book of Corporate Social Responsibility, compiled by top authoritative figures in the economic, social and management circles of China, is the most authoritative and influential among various events ranking Chinese enterprises in terms of social responsibility. The Top 100 enterprises are ranked, in the descending order of the scores, as Excellence, Leader, Follower, Infant and Bystander. The score for CR Group this year is 80.7, 6.7 up over the last year, higher than the threshold score of 80, and the Group was promoted from the rank of Leaders to that of Excellence. Representatives of the Group attended the conference.
