On the afternoon of November 4, CPC Secretary Qiang Wei and Governor Lu Xinshe of Jiangxi Province, met CPC Zhang Yi and Deputy Director Huang Danhua of the SASAC as well as heads and representatives from central enterprises; on the morning of November 5, a ceremony for the signing of a cooperation memorandum and a conference on investment cooperation between central enterprises and Jiangxi Province were jointly held in Ganzhou. Deputy General manager Wang Chuandong attended the events on behalf of CR. During the events, CR and Ji’an City, Jiangxi Province signed a framework agreement for investment cooperation.
According to Qiang, the investment cooperation between central enterprises and Jiangxi Province will lead to a new round of central enterprise investments in Jiangxi and supports to the revolutionary base areas, displaying the senses of responsibility and mission of SASAC and central enterprises and their deep love to the revolutionary base areas and people there. With advanced management expertise, technology and talents to be brought in by central enterprises, the new opening-up policies adopted by the province will spur a new round of development. The government of the province will seek to provide the best support and services to the possibly fullest scope.
According to Zhang, people of Jiangxi province made tremendous sacrifice and contribution for the revolution and construction of China and it is the responsibility of central enterprises to help them to live a happy life. He hoped that central enterprises will deepen their cooperation with Jiangxi Province with the spirit of reform and innovation with the view of making their due share of contribution to the construction and development of the revolutionary base areas. He called on central enterprises to integrate the resource and location advantages with the capital, technological, human resource, marketing and other advantages of central enterprises, develop a batch of high-level advantageous industrial platforms, cooperate with enterprises of various ownership in Jiangxi at multiple levels and in a large range of fields following the market tendency, with the view of creating a scenario of win-win development.
At present, CR’s real estate, gas, pharmaceutical, retail and food businesses have found their way into the province with more than 20 investment projects under way.
During the events, Wang exchanged opinions saperately with leaders of Ganzhou, Ji’an, Yingtan, Fuzhou and Jingdezhen on issues related to cooperation between the two parties and inspected the operations of CR (Ji’an) Gas.
