On September 24 and 27-29, General Manager Qiao Shibo went to Hunan for inspection and research. During the visit, he met with CPC Secretary Xiang Lili and Mayor Qu Hai of Chenzhou and Governor Guo Jianqun of Xiangxi Tu and Miaojia Autonomous Prefecture and inspected enterprises of CR Gas and CR Breweries in the prefecture.

During his meeting with leaders of Chenzhou, Qiao said that one of the purposes of his visit was to further promote the implementation of the agreement signed by the two parties and hoped that the CPC Committee and government of the city will increase their support for CR's projects in the city. Xiang and Qu expressed their hope that CR will further expand its scope of cooperation with the city and represented that the CPC Committee and the government of the city will make the best efforts to provide all-round services for CR enterprises within the city and facilitate the cooperation projects. Heads of CR Power, CR Land, CR Gas, Vanguard and CR Beverage negotiated the operations of their respective existing projects, existing problems and future cooperation with their counterparts of the city.

During his meeting with leaders of Xiangxi Prefecture, Qiao said that CR will facilitate the development of the contracted projects for early completion and production, further explore business opportunities for cooperation with Xiangxi Prefecture in the field of liquid gas. CR will seek shared understanding with the local government for win-win development. Governor Guo outlined the resources and policy advantages and expressed the sincere hope that CR will enhance its cooperation with Xiangxi in more fields and promote the level of cooperation between the two parties.

At the site of CR Breweries in Xiangxi, Qiao asked in detail about the progress of the project. Qiao stressed that CR Breweries (Wuhan) should further communicate and coordinate with local government agencies with the view to promote the construction work and complete and put the project into production as soon as possible.

At CR (Xiangxi) Gas Co., Ltd., Qiao inspected the gas stations of the company, met with the first-time employees and learned about the operation of the gas stations and heard reports of heads of the company on the development of its gas operations. Qiao pointed out that the Company should cooperate closely with the local government in the land demolition work, promote the natural gas pipeline project, so that the residents of Jishou City will be able to use the inexpensive safe piped natural gas as early as possible.

Accompanying Qiao on the visit were heads of the Directors’ Office, the Strategy Management Division and relevant profit centers.
