During July 14 to 18, 2018, General Manager of the China Resources Group (CRG) Luo Xi held a string of talks with relevant business partners in agriculture, natural gas, scientific research and innovation and other fields on a business visit to Russia.

During the Russia stay, Luo researched and studied the planting, breeding and processing of agricultural products and other businesses of the Charoen Pokphand Group of Thailand, meeting with the Group’s management in Russia and gaining an understanding of the investment and business environment in Russia through the introduction of foreign companies. He also met with Chairman of the Management Committee of Russia’s Novatek OAO and vice Chairman of the Board of the GazpromBank, exploring opportunities for cooperation in natural gas. During a visit to the Moscow-based Skolkovo Innovation Center which is also the biggest of its kind in Europe nowadays, Luo held talks with two separate start-up teams in medical science and technology and visited their laboratories.

Furthermore, Luo met with the global chairman and CEO of the Coca-Cola Company, and discussed potential cooperation in fishery and agriculture with the chairman of the Russian Fishery Company and the Chairman of the Eribel Group of Uzbekistan. Besides, he also talked with Vice President of the China-Russia Chamber of Commerce in Machinery and Electronic on potential cooperation in energy, sewage treatment, chip development, manufacturing and other fields and paid a visit to the Chinese ambassador to Russia.
