Chairman Fu Yuning Attends Innovation Forum on Technology for One Belt One Road and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area

On November 30, Fu Yuning, Chairman of the China Resources Group attended and delivered a keynote speech at the Innovation Forum on Technology for One Belt One Road and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, which was held at Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP).

 

Chairman Fu said Hong Kong, Shenzhen and the Pearl River Delta Area have their own characteristics and advantages in scientific research innovation, talent development and achievement transformation. The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area can bring their advantages together to form a powerful innovation ecosystem. This will lead to more innovations that would boost the structural reorganization of Hong Kong economy. He noted that China Resources has actively fostered innovative industries for the past two years. A global open platform for innovation cooperation has been built in an effort to vigorously promote innovation and transformation. It is expected that China Resources will establish more alliances with leading research institutes, innovation and entrepreneurship groups in the future for innovation-driven development. China Resources Group is keen to work with creative talents and groups from the Greater Bay Area including those from Hong Kong to create a platform for young generation who are pursuing their dreams.

Carrie Lam, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Bai Chunli, President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tan Tieniu, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong S.A.R., and Fanny Law Fan Chiu Fun, Chairperson of HKSTP attended the Forum.
